[RPG Shooter: Starwish]

cool story. probably need to read to walkthrough to get all endings. art style reminded me of the memetic Megatokyo webcomic.
shoot em up mechanics are so-so. some weapons are a lot more useful than others. certain levels makes it easy for you to get trapped in a corner... but that happens in other more popular "commercial" shooter games too.

like jantonaitis on October 14, 2023, the guide made by the dev still exists? even with the guide it's tough to get the "best" ending on Hard difficulty. get killed once and miss an important ending needed for the best end, AND the game seems to autosave when you die.
AND Extreme Mode can't be turned off so be careful with that hidden button in the cafe. found out the hard way when i was half way through a New Game Plus, restarting with another New Game Plus also does not turn it off.

kinda funny. i can't seem to get the medals to unlock on this page though they popped up in NG Player? reopened the player 3 times before i got any medals.

still no idea how to get the sekrit dictator medal but got the UFO attack? the 3 secret medals seem to be : die from heart attack, "it's good to be corrupt", and the UFO attack. 2 of them seem to be random. "good to be corrupt" probably requires fake elections and 0 percent popularity?
